About Us

Carrying Cantonese opera to a London stage

Yuet Wan London is a non-profit cultural association dedicated to preserving and sharing the living art of Cantonese opera and music in the United Kingdom.

“To convey feeling through art, and to cultivate people through culture.”

Cantonese opera — 粵劇 — is a UNESCO-recognised art form that weaves together song, music, movement and storytelling refined over centuries in the Lingnan region of southern China.

Through performances, workshops and community events, we bring artists and audiences together — supporting practitioners in the UK while introducing new audiences to its beauty.

What We Do

Workshops & classes
